Man Jumps Balcony Of Romania's Parliament Photos, Thursday was the most dramatic day in the history of Romania's parliament. Television engineer Adrian Sobaru jumped from a balcony protesting against austerity measures. Adrian Sobaru, the father-of-two wore a t-shirt saying “You killed our children’s future.” Sobaru was not seriously injured. As emergency medical workers took him out on a stretcher, Sobaru shouted "Freedom!"
